Outreach

It's a beautiful day today in Mexico! 75 degrees outside, perfectly sunny, with a perfect little breeze.
A group of us went on outreach this morning. Here are a few pictures :)

Judah and Nicole

This lady lives across the street from the church. You know those jokes about "yo mama's teeth are so crooked..."? So crooked that when she smiles it looks like her tongue is in jail...etc...
Well this lady's teeth are like that.
She told us she couldn't come to our church because she is Catholic and if a Catholic goes to a non-Catholic church, they will turn into a crazy person. :D Hopefully we convinced her that isn't true. She said she'll try to come tomorrow.

Inviting kids to Sunday school....

There was a game of soccer out in the middle of this field. There were a ton of young people so we got out there and started inviting them to church. It's nice to be able to point down the street and say, "that's my church." Walking distance. No excuses.

We came to this house where in the window of the door were a bunch of Catholic signs.
One said, "This is a Catholic home. We do not accept Protestant (or other religious) propaganda. Long live the virgin Mary, mother of Christ!" We stuck our flyer up with the rest of theirs. :-)

When we finally made it back to our street, Judah saw the church and started shouting, "Papa! Papa!"
When he saw "Papa" he ran up to him and gave him a big hug.
