Revival in Puebla!

Why is it that everytime I come here to post some pictures it doesn't work?? All it posts is a bunch of letters and numbers and slashes. :(

Well...I can't wait to post this any longer. Pictures or no pictures.

Last Sunday 4 people got the Holy Ghost and then yesterday, 2 more got it!
All of them from the same family, except for one. We are sooo excited. Each service gets better and better...
As soon as I can get to a decent computer, I will post pictures.

Saturday we had our church Christmas banquet. The food was so delicious, and we had a wonderful time.
God is so good!

The first words out of Austin's mouth when he woke up yesterday were "Is it Christmas morning yet?"
On Christmas Eve Grampa and Gramma Wakefield and their assisant abd family are coming over to our house and we are going to stuff ourselves with all kinds of American delicacies like Smoked Turkey, YELLOW corn, mashed potatoes, stuffing, brocoli salad, bread rolls, popcorn balls, bon bons, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and moooore. (There will not be a tortilla in all the house.) Then we will sit around the living room and our stomaches will ache from eating too much. I can't wait! :)
Maybe we will turn on that Celine Dion "Christmas song" and laugh and frown and wonder why she might want God to "bless us everyone. The good and the bad, the happy and sad..." Lol.

It is finally getting cold here in Puebla. Last night it rained, which is very unusual, so there is talk of Puebla getting a little bit of snow.
--I'm dreaming of a white Christmas--

...Wishing all of you out there a MERRY, MERRY Christmas!

Christmas Time!

A couple of days ago we got the house all decorated. It took a few hours of blood, sweat and tears, but we got it done. Then we woke up the next morning and everything was on the ground. (Our first experience with cement walls). It was devastating. So today we bought nails and re-did it all. So when we get home today they had better still be up.

I love Christmas!

Last night Austin told me he is not scared to sleep in his room anymore because "this is the Christmas season. A time of joy and happiness." Hey, whatever it takes...

This next weekend is our church Christmas/Winter Banquet. Lots of pictures to come...

Long Treck Home

Do you know the feeling of waking up from your hotel--after traveling for seemingly forever the day before--knowing you still have a full day of driving ahead of you? We drove until 10pm last night when we got here to Saltillo, Mexico. We have 10 more hours. Aaah! I just want to take about 5 dramamines and snooze aaaaall the way back home. Wee wee wee wee wee. Maybe we'll make it back home just in time for prayer meeting. That would be funny.

OH!! Austin said something so funny the other night. We were all laying in bed, it was all dark, but none of us could go to sleep. Somehow we got to talking about our most embarrassing moments so of course Austin has to get his two sense in. "MY most embarrassing moment is after I sit on the toilet for so long and I get up and my legs are glued to the seat and I peel off skin!" I almost fell on the floor. He went on to say a bunch of other super funny things but they are totally inappropriate for this blog.

I tried to post pictures just now, but it's not working. I'll do it later then.
Time to get....dum duh dee dum....On the road again...Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway...
(Thanks, Dad).
