Bibleing: Building a School—One Chapter at a Time!

Many of you know our brother Austin. That creative, outspoken, lovable 10 year old who won your heart the first time you met him. (Or something memorable like that— Maybe he tried to sell you the free pamphlets at a conference, or convinced you that his dad was in jail…)

You may even know of the many medical challenges he has faced in his young life. One of these challenges is hydrocephalus and living with a shunt.

But knowing how incredibly perceptive and creative Austin is, you perhaps would never imagine that Austin struggles to read, and is dyslexic. But Austin is learning to read. –In his own words “by bounds and leaps!”.

This year Austin wants to read the New Testament all the way through. He is reading 1 chapter a day, 5 days a week. That’s 260 chapters in 260 days.

But wait-- there's more!

As you all might already know, we are working out of our church sanctuary.
We need to build a classroom for our grade school. We are combining Austin’s goal of reading the New Testament and our immense need of a new classroom into one big goal!

We, Nicole and Bethany, being the teachers in this school, can vouch for this need! Please help us build some permanent space!

Will you sponsor Austin to read the New Testament and help our children have a dedicated classroom?

Okay! Now—

If you pledge .50 per chapter, for 260 chapters that would equal $130 in a year.

$1 per chapter = $260/year, $2 per chapter = $520/year, etc.
Any amount that you decide to donate helps! There is no amount too small or too large!

Our goal is to start building right away, and to have the project finished within a 6 month period, so those of you who could donate the yearly amount in one payment would be a major blessing!
But for those who need to may split up the payment of your pledge however is most convenient for you.

The Paypal button on the right is the easiest way to get involved and help this ministry here in Puebla. But, if you prefer to write a check, you may send it to the address below. Make your check out to ARM Ministries Inc.

Each week we will post a picture and audio of Austin reading the Bible.
(Sometimes in different places in Puebla, or wherever in the world.)
--Let’s call it Bible-ing! You’ve heard of planking, tebowing, coning, owling--what could be more honorable than “Bibleing”!
Reading God’s Word!
Here is what we want from you! Take pictures of you, your kids, or others reading the Bible and send them to us to be posted on the blog. Or for Sunday School teachers, take a picture of your class reading the Bible!

How creative can you be?

To share your Bibleing pictures with us, you can upload them using the widget on the right that is labeled "Bibleing Around the World", or you can email us your pictures at

 Go Bibleing with Austin!
This is Austin's first bibleing picture! He wanted this first picture to be taken on the roof, right where the new classroom will be built.

If you have any questions or great ideas to help this project, leave a comment on here, or email us at .

And last but not least, here is Austin's very first recording!
Every week we will be sending out Austin's latest Bibleing picture, updates, and a link to his recording of the week. If you would like to receive these email updates, submit your email address in the widget to the right.

We'd also like to send out a huge thank you to the few of you who have already decided to sponsor Austin in this challenge!
May God bless you all!

Great job Austin! Truth Tabernacle in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada will be sending a check for $500 to the mailing address provided. Our youth group did a Bible Read A Thon last year and it was a lot of fun and a successful fundraiser! Pictures of this event can be found on our church website at

God Bless!
