1. Last Sunday and today we were packed out and had AWESOME moves of God.
2. The house is ALMOST finished. It's just little things that need to be done like lights on the front half of the house, get the gas hooked up, and get some beds...and some other stuff, I can't remember, but we should be able to move in about 3-4 weeks.
3. The girl that helps me in Sunday school taught me how to make 3 Mexican dishes...and I made one the other night and everyone liked it except me. It's b/c I know what the REAL thing tastes like.
4. We have started having Youth service every Friday. It's going good and the kids love it.
Having church.
I wish I had more...these aren't good pictures at all. :(
It's kind of awkward trying to sing and take pictures at the same time. Lol.
It's so awesome to see the guys that are building the house AND their families getting touched!!
In the pictures of the house (below) you'll see Israel. Him and his wife tonight sat on the front row and during the song service both of them were speaking in tongues with tears running down their faces, Israel on his knees, his wife dancing beside him.

Sunday School:
Eddy is really concentrating.
Eddy is really concentrating.
This is me (Bethany) and Noe the Smarty Pants. He's the one that learned Acts 2:38 a couple weeks ago. (See the post a little ways down from here.)
Last Sunday night Pastor (Curtis) Wakefield was taking home the 2 guys that are building the house and their families home. On his way out, right in their driveway, he got stuck baaad in the mud. It took them 2 hours to get him out. They had to jack the car up and put rocks under the tire.
Everyone in the neighborhood came out to 'help' :) get the car out. By the time it was over there was a crowd of about 20 guys and the builders' families.
The church and house how it looks right now.
Israel putting caulk around the window.
The gate guys...putting the gate up.
Dad chippin' off the wall so we can put up tile.
Oooooh! THIS is funny...
Last week my dad told us that we had been invited over for Sunday dinner at the family of our builder's house at 1pm. So none of us eat before we leave and we get there, our stomachs growling, wondering what we're going to eat. "Ooooh! This is going to be really good. (Are we going to get sick??)
So we get there and they bring us glasses of Coke and we visit for a while...and talk...and visit...and visit some more. After 2 hours we obviously are wondering where in the world the food is. Well...somebody misunderstood. We were there because the family is interested in our church, but not to EAT. As soon as we left we raced over to a little stand and got a baked chicken, some tortillas, and ate that on the way to church. :))
Here's some pictures the kids took. They LOVE the camera...
Us...with our Coke. Haha!
The lady on the left...we call her Grandmaawwww. In testimony service...watch out. She can tell some kind of whopper-loo stories! We understand about half of what she says and the rest...it doesn't even logically make sense. Like a while back she stood up and testified about her dream. (That's always a red flag, ya know.) She dreamed she was chasing this boy and God told her that if she could just catch this boy and suffocate him, she would be suffocating her own illness. Ahem.
And she is about half my size, by the way. Makes me feel tall.
She always has lots to say about how great God is.
...just wish she would come to church every once in a while...
