The Wakefields in Nicaragua

Hi Everybody!

About eight months ago, Nicole and I started feeling a burden for Nicaragua. As far as we knew, it was an unchurched country. Very soon after feeling this burden, we were eating at McDonald's one morning. A man walked up to us with a Bible and said, "Please show me how I can be saved." He was from Nicaragua. He came to our church for a bit, but then quit. However, this was confirmation enough for us that Nicaragua needed a missionary.

The beautiful building that is in the process of being purchased!

We will be starting a work in the city of Chinandega. We are extremely excited for what the future holds!!

Don't worry - the blog shall continue! The address shall remain the same since Mexico will always be our first love....

Stay tuned - tomorrow I will have the full story, with all the juicy details!

~Bethany~

P.S. - To all future readers: APRIL FOOLS! APRIL FOOLS! APRIL FOOLS!

Aaaaaaahhh!! CRAZINESS!

I so admire you guys and your heartbeat for missions. Nicaragua is getting the cream of the crop. Only eternity will reveal how many lives were changed because of your burden, and only then will you be sufficiently rewarded!

Can't believe it's been almost eight months!! SO excited for you guys, and you are continually in Porterville's prayers! We LOVE Y'ALL!

Well that's so awesome because I have been feeling a burden for the whole world and will be traveling as an international evangelist from now on. I'm self approved. LOL

PTL! What a testimony of faithfulness to the calling of God. I cannot wait to hear about the many things God has in store for the Wakefield family in Nicaragua! Lord willing, I will make my way there for a missions trip in the near future. Many prayers for God's best!
