Last night my dad preached on knowing your limitations, knowing how much you can handle in your schedule, and purposely making time for God in your week. This perfectly segued into the negative influence Facebook can have on your life. You can only have so many "friends" - hopefully one of those is Jesus! He hit it hard, said no one in our church has any business being on there and IF they had one, they needed to go home and DELETE their account!
I find great satisfaction in choosing the perfect song to sing for altar call. One that fits wonderfully with the preaching and is going to just clinch everything together. I could not resist when the song "Jesus, Mi Fiel Amigo" (Jesus, My Faithful Friend) came to my mind. The cherry on top to a perfect Facebook message!
